The lady in the video was stopped at a roadblock set up by TMPD and her license was requested.
The woman in the video willingly gave over her license, however, she was asking for their identification.
The officers were silent throughout and eventually left the scene, the lady recording said “Why are you running?” before they left.
Officers are obliged to show a citizen their identification when requested to prove their authenticity.
Viewers on social media are alleging that no identification has been shown to try and facilitate bribes.
