All pubs, clubs, shebeens needs be closed at 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays as part of new measures to stop the spread of the Covid-19.
According to the measures, drinking and eating places from 13:00 on Sundays and public holidays may not sell alcohol and may only open at 9:00 in the morning.
Also, no more than 50 people may be on these premises at one time.
Police took action and closed down taverns for not obeying the law.
