A woman was hijacked, shot and thrown from her car on Friday morning in Bramley, Johannesburg, when she stopped at a traffic light.
Isabel van Coller stopped at a traffic light at the corner of Dublin and Cunning Streets at 5:24 am when four men fired at her vehicle.
Footage of the incident, shared on Twitter, shows how the men surrounded Van Coller’s vehicle and pushed her door open.
The four men jumped into Van Coller’s vehicle and threw her body out of the vehicle, leaving her in the middle of the road.
According to Captain Kay Makhubele, a Gauteng police spokesperson, she was shot dead.
The whole incident lasted only 36 seconds.
Jurgen Kotze, chief operating officer of Emer-G-Med, confirmed that Van Coller worked as a bookkeeper with the company.
