The Zondo Commission have said they will issue former president Jacob Zuma a summons which will take place between January 27th to 31st.

Zuma has been accused of ‘state capture’, this is the buzzword for corruption, in which an act is carried out to significantly alter state-processes for their own gain.

The application will be made sometime next week and will be passed through the commission’s legal teams for approval before issuing it.

Back in November Zuma was due to testify however there were claims that he was ‘too sick to do so’ – NewsLiteSA reported on the story here.
