Former president Jacob Zuma received a warm welcome at the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
A warrant for Zuma’s arrest was issued in the Pietermaritzburg High Court in early February, while Zuma’s legal team also filed a sick letter to the court on why he could not appear in court.
Zuma has just spoken to fans, explaining that there is something wrong with his eyes and that’s why he wears the dark glasses. He also said he did not feel strong enough to deliver a speech and would later address his supporters.
He was in Cuba for an operation on his eyes, Zuma says.
