At least 7.7 million Zimbabweans are facing a food shortage before the Covid 19 pandemic following the drought and 2019 cyclone, while the rainfall is also very poor due to climate change.
However, the latest figures show that a food shortage now faces 8.5 million Zimbabweans, while at least 45 million people in southern Africa do not have enough food.
