helicopter with three occupants fell in Sinoville, Pretoria, on Friday afternoon, after apparently taking off at Wonderboom.
According to a statement issued by ER24, the helicopter crashed on Marija Street in Sinoville. ER paramedics arrived at the scene around 12:40 a.m. when they found the helicopter in the middle of the street.
ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said three occupants were found a short distance from the helicopter.
Local police and fire departments blocked the road and paramedics treated the three men’s wounds.

Xander Loubser, spokesman for the Best Care Ambulance Service, said the three men sustained only minor injuries.
Loubser says the helicopter apparently belonged to the Powered Flight training center in Wonderboom. The helicopter apparently came from the direction of Wonderboom Airport when it crashed. It is not yet known what the cause of the accident was.
Loubser says there is no further information as to who the three occupants are. One did wear a shirt from the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
Police officers are still investigating at the scene.
