Early hours of this morning around 4:00 emergency services were called to the N3, just outside Ladysmith(KZN) as there were reports that a taxi had rolled multiple times to the other side of the highway.
ER24 have reported that several passengers were ejected with a total of 15 injured passengers. During the taxi rollover passengers were ejected out of vehicle and found laying in the fast lane.
After the medics carried out their assessments it was reported that four people had sustained critical injuries while the other eleven only minor.
The passengers with critical injuries were transferred to nearby hospitals while the other eleven were given painkillers and then sent on their way.
This crash comes at a time when the ‘Minister of Transport’ is working hard to keep the roads safer.
Our country loses about 14 000 people on our roads. Most of these are economically active citizens. Let us not be statistics.
