A video of former president Jacob Zuma on a quad bike, surrounded by bodyguards, made Twitter users clap.
The video was shared by user @ZwangaMukhuthu this week: “Msholozi [Zuma’s family name] during a morning outing on his quad bike at Nkandla.”
However, it is not clear when the video was filmed. The footage provoked dismay as Zuma’s legal team said earlier this month that it was too sick to appear before the Zondo Commission after state hijacking.
Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo Zondo heard an application from the commission’s own legal team that Zuma to testify before the commission from January 27 to 31 after failing to appear at the last three scheduled dates – each time with a different excuse.
This time, the former president’s legal team once again hacked some broad aces with the eventual message that Zuma will not show up again. His legal team made an unusual offer to Zondo – that the head of Zuma’s medical team would inform the judge on a confidential basis about exactly what Zuma’s illness entailed.

Disappointment from South Africans
South Africans are shocked to see a video like this online after claims he was too ill to testify, some left comments in relation to the struggling nation.
And his supporters are fetching their own water at the hospitals and their kids are crossing rivers to get to school, sit under trees and learn. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊— Lihle (@ItsLihleBoy) January 23, 2020
