Kwazi Mshengu, the MEC for Education in KZN reported that three schools had not achieved any passes.
- Phindizwe High in the King Cetshwayo
- Fingqindlela Secondary in the Ugu District
- Maklokohloko Secondary in the uMzinyathi district
Mshengu has assured that those three schools will receive special attention to ensure next year the results are improved.
Many people have mixed views on publicizing the information as they believe it can be ’embarrassing’ for the students, whereas many others see it as an opportunity to get the issue publicity so it’s addressed.
