Police Minister Bheke Cele has joined the front line today to carry out inspections and to give advise to the fighters on the frontline on how to keep batting against the virus.
Minister Cele has described the operation as being “exemplary” and commended the province for their work at battling the spread of the virus in the province. The Province has set up roadblocks at major contact points including shopping centers. The motorists, passengers, and shoppers that enter the area are being screened.

Minister Cele has expressed that he expects these standards to be followed throughout South Africa. Social distancing is a method used to prevent the spread of the virus and while in the North West Province the minister observed the queues and gave citizens advice on how to ensure Social distancing rules are followed.
