The recorded statistics as of May 19th 2020, show an increase of 767 confirmed cases in South Africa.
A total of 488609 tests have been conducted, 7960 recoveries and 312 deaths.
Dr Zweli Mkhize, Minister of Health, reported in his statement that the Northern Cape has suffered it’s first death today.
“We wish to express our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who cared for the deceased” said Mkhize
