Bianca Schoombee suffered a social media nightmare yesterday after someone dug up the dirt and retweeted some racially insensitive tweets that were posted by the model 7 years ago.

Schoombee was a contestant for Miss South Africa 2020 until she chose to remove herself from the competition.

Twitter was also shocked to find that the agency supported the contestant and defended her actions. The agency commented on the matter by releasing a statement to explain that Schoombee has matured into a lovely young woman.

Schoombee yesterday decided after seeing #BiancaMustFall it was time to release her apology and later disabled her account. Sometime this morning Twitter has decided to not only acknowledge her account being disabled but they have gone ahead and permanently suspended her.

#BiancaHasFallen has now started to trend on Twitter, many people are celebrating that the model has resigned from her duties and also been removed from the Twitter platform.

With the small minority defending the actions, one Facebook comment has gained popularity after forgiving the model.

“Making mistakes is part of growing up, though some mistakes are bound to haunt your future..I made a lot of mistakes growing up, I did things I’m ashamed of, so who am I to judge..I’m a fully grown man now and I’ve learnt some lessons thus I know right from wrong..Her tweets are more immature than racist, she didn’t know better then, she hung out with the wrong crowd perhaps..I know it means nothing, but if I am asked to forgive her, I will without a doubt..Everyone of us deserve a second chance, everyone of us deserve a redemption..”
