Minister of Communications and Digital Technology Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is back at work after Pres. Cyril Ramaphosa placed her on “special leave” two months back after violating the containment measures.
Ndabeni-Abrahams’ office says they are not going to issue any statements about her being back at work.
News24 reported on Tuesday that Ndabeni-Abrahams’ office confirmed to them that she was back, but that she would be in meetings all day and therefore would not allow any interviews.
Ndabeni-Abrahams went to a former ANC MP’s during the containment measures. They shared the photo on social media, after which Ramaphosa called her in for a meeting and placed her on two months of special leave.
She was subsequently charged for breaking the measures, after which she paid a R 1000 fine and pleaded guilty.
