Health Minister Mkhize says the virus is not the same in all people. In one case the virus does not show for 2 weeks, in another it shows within a few days.
He says people who have been tested positive will be told to stay in the home, don’t talk to the neighbors, stay in your home until the virus is put out of you.
Don’t panic. If someone comes from an area where people have the virus, they should be in isolation and monitored. When people become very ill, they are admitted to a hospital where the medical staff knows exactly what to do so that they do not catch on and do not spread the virus.
People just have to remember to wash their hands. And if they sneeze, do it in a handkerchief or tissue.
If someone sneezes, turn away from them.
And people should please wash their hands after using the toilet – just don’t run out.
