A man was seriously injured Saturday morning when he fell through a roof on a farm near the N14 outside Johannesburg.
Ross Campbell, spokesperson for ER24, said in a statement that paramedics were called to a farm in the vicinity of Brandvlei at about 10:04 where they found a man on the ground upon arrival at the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was seriously injured when he fell between eight and ten meters to the ground. His associates stopped him until paramedics arrived.
According to Campbell, the man was treated at the scene before being flown to a private hospital by helicopter.
The details of the incident are unclear at this stage.
Police and the traffic department were on scene to investigate and also facilitate the helicopter’s landing on the highway.
