During the EFF apparent ground forces rally, Malema made a statement and it was later posted on their Twitter.
#VoteEFF Malema: As black people, we kill Nigerians accusing them of selling drugs and we kill Zimbabweans accusing them of stealing our Jobs. Yet, the white man committed a genocide against us, took land, raped our mothers…

#VoteEFF Malema:…killed our child in Coligny for picking up a sunflower, they kill our people saying that have mistaken them for baboons. You’re even afraid to collapse the statues of white people. Why? Because you hate yourself.

Malema also stated on Twitter: “We want to be like Gadaffi”
#VoteEFF Malema: We want to double the social grants of the elderly and the social grants of children. We want to be like Gaddafi; who would gift newly wedded couples with land. We also want to gift you with land.

Julius Malema is already facing many charges for early 2020. One of the first cases coming up against Malema is the assault on a security guard.
In October 2019, Newslite SA reported that Afriforum was given the green light to prosecute Malema.
One case concerns the firing of a firearm in 2018 at an EFF rally in the Eastern Cape and the other case of the assault of a police colonel in April 2018 at the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela funeral.
