Latest Gauteng COVID-19 statistics

According to the latest figures on Wednesday, 6 546 people in Gauteng have already been tested positive for the coronavirus.

Of these, 2 825 have already recovered and 57 people have died from Covid-19.

63 people are treated in public and private hospitals for Covid-19.

Cases in the different districts in Gauteng:

* Johannesburg: 3 166

* Ekurhuleni: 1 288

* Tshwane: 865

* Sedibeng: 139

* Wes-Rand: 584

* District unknown: 504
