This type incident is the reason some customers shy away from complaining as they do not always trust the professionalism after giving out criticism.
However this time Johan Janse van Rensburg put forward his complaint only to receive a shocking present in return.

I have ordered some KFC for me and my wife and specifically asked for no white meat to be placed in my order. When we received the food, we sat down in the outlet to eat and then I realised that they have indeed placed pieces of white meat in my order. I took the order back to the counter and asked for the lady please rectify the incorrect order. The lady at the till went through the till slips and agreed that it was a mistake. She called the manager and explained and they agreed to correct the mistake. One of the ladies at the back came to fetch my food and when I realised that she was taking to long, I walked to the one corner where I could see what she was doing. She was with 3 more workers busy doing something with my food while all were laughing and joking about something. That was when the male person bent forward and spit in my food. When she gave it back to me I physically went through the food and found the spit covered with some of the food and then confronted the manager who was still at the till.
In outrage Johan Jane van Rensburg went to Facebook and his post went viral with people disgusted at the service and some suggesting that “The managers should have eaten the food”
