NDZ reveals when alcohol will be available on the 1st June

Minister Dlamini-Zuma announced the regulations on the sale of alcohol on Thursday.

The Minister said that alcohol will be available from June 1st. From Monday to Thursday. From 9am to 5pm. There will be no drinking at places that sell liquor.

E-commerce sales will also be able to continue full steam. However, no liquor license will be issued for special events for the duration of this period. We should not act irresponsibly which can reverse our profits that we have made so far the Minister said.

We must also ensure the livelihood of our people the Minister said. 

According to the Minister, the relief measures put in place to help “our people” have not yet been achieved. However, we will strengthen it for better SA said Dlamini-Zuma. 

All the measures are restrictive but necessary according to the minister. 

We must now sacrifice to ensure the beautiful future of the country. What we do is to make sure that the virus does not have a very devastating effect on our country and that after that people can rebuild their lives and the country.

The sale of cigarettes and tobacco products remains prohibited during this time, says Dlamini-Zuma.
