On Monday, FNB acknowledged that “some functionalities” of its online banking were causing problems, but it did not indicate when all of its services would be expected to be back online.
FNB customers complain that they haven’t been able to perform certain functions on FNB’s online banking since Sunday, such as purchasing airtime, for example.
Some users of FNB’s online web portal have also been greeted by an error message that simply indicates “Some errors have occurred. . . ” and that the system is unreachable.
FNB customers also cannot buy data online or perform basic banking.
FNB said in a statement that it was “truly sorry for the inconvenience”.
FNB’s app and website also had problems in February.
