DispatchLive reported that there are now one activate Covid-19 coronavirus case in Port Elizabeth.
Health Minister Zwelini Mkhize confirmed on Thursday that there are now 5 active cases in the Eastern Cape.
According to DispatchLIVE “The Eastern Cape has three more confirmed coronavirus cases — one in East London, one in Xhorha (Elliotdale) in the former Transkei and one in Port Elizabeth, the first case in the province’s biggest metro.”

In a statement, Health Minister Zwelini Mkhize said that as of today, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 in South Africa have risen by 218. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 927.
