A man died and his wife was seriously injured in a farm attack on Tuesday. This incident happened in Roodeplaat, outside Pretoria.
Peet and Rita van Wyk, both in their 70s was attacked by two to three suspects.
According to Marius Müller, national operations coordinator of AfriForum, there were two or three attackers.
“The couple was stabbed with knives and a TV and two cell phones were stolen,” he says.
According to Ian Cameron from AfriForum, the attackers blinded the elderly victims with phone lights and pepper-sprayed them. The victims were stabbed several times.
