An elderly couple from the Delportshoop district in the Northern Cape survived a farm attack after being attacked by three armed men in their farmhouse.
Chris, 78, and Tolla Hattingh, 76, were hit by three men, threatened with knives and tied with electric cords around 19:30 in their farmhouse.
Provincial spokesman Mohale Ramatseba said the Hattingh couple were not seriously injured in the incident.
Ramatseba says the attackers fled with an unknown amount of money, cellphones, and a white Ford Ranger bakkie.
The bakkie was found abandoned in the Lusaka settlement near Delportshoop on Saturday morning.
Police are investigating a charge of house robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
