Eastern Cape Prime Minister Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane is quarantined after one of his employees recently tested positive for Covid-19.
The prime minister’s office said in a statement on Saturday that the employee concerned is in the process of self-isolating.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister will be tested for Covid-19 a second time and will remain in quarantine until he receives these test results.
The Prime Minister’s Office has ensured that the Prime Minister will continue his work at home and will be virtually in touch with the National Command Council throughout the year.
