Diepsloot residents have taken it to the street in protest against “foreigners killing their people” on Friday.
This comes after two suspects have been arrested for the murder of Detective Captain Oupa Matjie, 54, who was shot dead on Friday, January 17 while he and a colleague searched for suspects in a murder and robbery case in Diepsloot, Johannesburg.

This is a planned protest organized by the Diepsloot community. The community plans to “shut down” Diepsloot on Friday.
