Two men executed shortly after a court case

No one has been arrested yet after two men were killed shortly after in Mossel Bay, one man had recently appeared in a court case.

The men’s bodies were found in Kwanonqaba on Tuesday morning in the early hours of the morning, Capt. Malcolm Pojie, a police spokesman.

Pojie said the men allegedly quarreled between 04:00 and 05:00 at their residence in an informal settlement in Mzola Street in Asla Park (a Kwanonqaba).

One of the men, Silindile Mkhaza, 29, tried to run away but was stabbed in the back. He sustained stab wounds to his hands and back and died from his injuries outside the residence, according to a statement.

A group of 15 people allegedly set the house on fire while the other man, Siphamandla Koni, 25, was still inside. His body was found in the rubble after the fire was extinguished.

According to Pojie, no one has been arrested yet. Police are investigating two cases of murder. People with information can call the investigating officer, ao Geoffrey Moosm on 044 606 5629 or 079 894 1599, or Stop Crime on 08600 10111.
