Gauteng police have made a breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Tshegofatso Pule, whose body was found with a stab wound last week in Roodepoort.
Police said in a statement Wednesday morning that a 31-year-old man was arrested.
“The suspect was arrested while on his way back from Mpumalanga and will appear in court in Roodepoort today,” said the statement by the Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner, Elias Mawela, issued.
Mawela praised the detectives working on the case for the breakthrough and asked anyone with further information to contact the police as the investigation continues.
