Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the recent murder of Dr. Roelof Botha of Tulbagh in the Western Cape.
Capt. Police spokesperson FC van Wyk told Maroela Media on Tuesday afternoon that four suspects, all aged between 20 and 35, were arrested in connection with the murder. This was after police earlier questioned a person (34) of interest.
It was previously reported that Botha was stabbed to death on Monday with a sharp object. His body was found in Schalkenbosch Road at about 18:45 with multiple stab wounds.
Botha operated a practice in Van der Stel Street in the town.
The police investigation is ongoing, Van Wyk said.
