Ten suspects who allegedly stole more than R100 000 worth of electrical equipment broke their belts in Hankey.
Capt. Police spokesperson Khaya Tonjeni says the suspects are between 21 and 51 years old.
Tonjeni said they were trapped in the early hours of Friday morning.
He said police received information that the stolen goods were hidden in Centerton in Hankey.
“The suspects were arrested after finding batteries, compressors and other electrical accessories in their possession.
“They will appear in Hankey Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on charges of possession of alleged stolen goods,” Tonjeni said.
