Namibia has confirmed two more Covid-19 cases of people who have traveled to South Africa from that country.
Dr. Namibia Health and Social Services Minister Kalumbi Shangula said a 66-year-old Namibian woman and a 28-year-old Namibian woman both tested positive for the viral disease while quarantined. Neither woman showed symptoms of the virus.
Namibia currently has 18 confirmed cases of Covid-19, of which 14 have already recovered. No deaths have been reported there due to the new coronavirus.
This is the first time in 45 days that a new COVID-19 case is confirmed in Namibia.
