The number of Covid-19 infections in South Africa increased to 4,361. The figures were released by the Minister of Health on Saturday night.
Another seven people died of the virus, according to the statement. Four deaths occurred in the Eastern Cape, followed by the Western Cape with 2 and Limpopo with one.
The total number of test conducted to date is 161,004, of which 6,614 were done in the last 24 hours the Health Minister said.
