The burnt body of a man was found by a herdsman on a road in Port Elizabeth last weekend.
According to police, the victim’s hands and feet were tied.
The herdsman found the body, which had already decomposed, at 13:30 on Sunday afternoon along Uitenhage Road in the Chatty area.
Markings on the victims’ neck indicate that he may have been strangled, spotted. Police spokesman Priscilla Naidu said.
Police suspect the victim was killed elsewhere before his body was left at least four days ago.
Naidu says an autopsy will be done to determine the exact cause of his death.
The public’s help is being asked to identify the man.
