A primary school learner’s finger was cut off by other learners at the school.
Education MEC Panyasa Lesufi says although it happened at a school in Hercules on February 20, the incident was not reported.
The mother turned to Twitter to express her frustration because the department had not yet explained to her what had happened.
A learner (MY SON 12 year old) got his finger cut off by other learners 5 of them on 20 February 2020 at Boysen primary school Pretoria still waiting for Department of Education to answer, as they have not said anything.
