A 42-year old male has been arrested for the alleged rape of his ex-girlfriend who is aged 24.
The woman was traveling from her cousin’s house when she spotted the ex-boyfriend, she made attempts to run away from the man but he managed to drag her into a taxi.
He drove the victim to his homestead where he kept her captive, while there he assaulted and raped her, it has been reported by the SAPS that in the morning he let her free.
The victim immediately reported the case to KwaMsane Police, shortly after they arrested the man.
The 42-year-old man is due to appear at KwaMsane Magistrates Court tomorrow facing rape and assault charges.
