Protesters took to the street on Friday in Diepsloot. This comes after the community claim that 9 people including a police officer were murdered by foreigners.

A girl was killed later on Friday after a bus accident in the area. It is still unknown how the incident occurred.

This comes after two suspects have been arrested for the murder of Detective Captain Oupa Matjie, 54, who was shot dead on Friday, January 17 while he and a colleague searched for suspects in a murder and robbery case in Diepsloot, Johannesburg.
Newslite SA earlier reported of the alleged suspects were confronted by the Diepsloot community.
