Breaking news on Friday morning is that the United States has killed Qasem Soleimani.
Qassem Suleimani, a high Iranian commander, was killed in an airstrike at the Baghdad International Airport.
America took responsibility for the attack with their commander in chief giving the clear instruction.
The Democrats in America did not like the attack and ran to Twitter to comment:
The first comment comes from a congresswoman that previously stated “SOME PEOPLE DID SOMETHING” when it came to the 9/11 attacks.
There is no way to overstate how dangerous this is.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) January 3, 2020
We need every voice to rise up and demand that Congress stop Trump from starting a catastrophic war with Iran.

The Democratic socialist said the following on Twitter:
Last night the President engaged in what is widely being recognized as an act of war against Iran, one that now risks the lives of millions of innocent people.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) January 3, 2020
Now is the moment to prevent war & protect innocent people – the question for many is how, publicly & Congressionally:
Democratic socialist Bernie Sanders:
Sen. Bernie Sanders: "When I voted against the war in Iraq in 2002…I warned about the deadly 'unintended consequences' of a unilateral invasion.— ABC News (@ABC) January 3, 2020
"Today, 17 years later, that fear has unfortunately turned out to be a truth." https://t.co/1SXDZKW5Wl pic.twitter.com/HUkcBbGMQn
Democrat Socialist Candidate Elizabeth Warren:
Soleimani was a murderer, responsible for the deaths of thousands, including hundreds of Americans. But this reckless move escalates the situation with Iran and increases the likelihood of more deaths and new Middle East conflict. Our priority must be to avoid another costly war.— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren) January 3, 2020
