Democrats and Republicans gathered to vote for articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. The Republican party stood together while the democrats were divided voting for the articles.
For the first article, the democrats lost three votes while the republicans stood together.

In the second article of impeachment, the democrats lost four votes while the republicans stood together.

The two articles on the table were for abuse of power and obstruction of justice. The impeachment will now move to the senate.
American Democrats were strongly relying on the public to see if impeachment would be the way going forward, denying the fact that most Americans do not support impeachment, the Democrats are still pushing forward.
The Democrats did not allow the Republicans to call any witnesses.
The Democrats’ attempt to remove Trump from office as the president does not mean it will be successful, as at least 20 Republicans in the Senate, where Republicans are the majority, must vote in favor of the move.
