In a statement made on Twitter, the power supplier says that stage 4 load shedding will continue until further notice.

This is due to a shortage of generation capacity resulting from unplanned breakdowns. Eskom expects that load shedding at various stages may continue into the weekend.

There is no indication how many megawatts are currently off. On Tuesday, it shot up to above 18,000 MW after the Koeberg unit was shut down.
